Summary
​With almost a decade of experience as a journalist and five years as a communications professional, I have a full understanding of the media landscape and the rapid pace at which it has changed. A graduate of journalism programs at both St. Thomas University (BA) and Carleton University (MJ) I've worked as a newspaper and broadcast reporter honing my skills as a writer, editor, and as a project manager.
I have run social media campaigns for festivals and theatre companies as well as worked as part of public relations and marketing teams in Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. I have a firm understanding and strong interest in using social media and online tools to connect with my community, as well as a strong understanding of social advertising and online marketing.
